Banaji, a Mechanical Engineer with a M.B.A has a career experience spanning in excess of 4 decades. He has been amongst the leadership team in companies like Ashok Leyland Ltd., Kennametal Widia India ltd., and Bosch Ltd.
In his initial career, as a maintenance engineer, he played a vital role in enhancing productivity of the plant and machinery through innovative engineering and maintenance solutions. Later, heading the Technical Functions in Bosch, he was one of the key persons in technology transfer from Germany to Bosch plants in India. He was responsible in Installation, Commissioning and running of imported and local Plant and Machinery in various Bosch Plants in India.
He has led several cross functional teams of experts from across engineering verticals for Construction of industrial, commercial Buildings and Offices, modernizing of offices across India. He played a pivotal role in the construction of Bosch, Bidadi Plant, relocation of the legacy Bosch Plant from Adugodi, Bengaluru and operationalise the new manufacturing facility at Bidadi.
